Reduce flight test data to standard day and expansion to non-standard day conditions. Predict aircraft performance using advanced modeling tools and techniques. Prepare aerodynamic reports that substantiate performance results provided in the aircraft flight manual. This position is for an experienced engineer in the area of flight test analysis/aircraft performance. Initial responsibilities will include writing test plans, monitoring flight testing, analyzing test data and writing reports of aircraft performance testing for development and certification of an FAA Part 23 aircraft. The applicant should have experience and understanding of all phases of aircraft performance testing and data analysis and require little oversight. Additional responsibilities will include preparation of the performance section of the airplane flight manual, flight planning manual. |
