STS Engineering Solutions is currently looking for a Lead Industrial Design Engineer to work in Marysville, WA.
Summary:
As the Lead Industrial Designer you will have demonstrated success developing new designs and concepts, and an in-depth knowledge of the overall interior architecture and layout of aircraft. You will be very resourceful, have a very hands-on approach, and have an in-depth knowledge of finishes, materials and design for manufacture. You will be accustomed to rapid prototyping and hands on experience of building prototypes. You will be responsible to communicate and present design concepts and create and deliver powerful presentations of leading edge design proposals that anticipate the future needs of the customer.

· Problem/ opportunity identification
· Aircraft and Airline Research Capability
· Idea generation
· Strong sketching ability
· Rapid prototyping, professional use of machines and tools
· Strong hand illustration
· Adobe illustrator
· Adobe Photoshop
Website creation tools would be an advantage:
· HTML 5.09
· Ergonomics / Layout of Passenger Accommodation (LOPA’s)
· Textures, Materials and finishes
